Annetta C. Eidesgaard

Annetta C. Eidesgaard is a biochemist currently working as a clinical academic at Rigshospitalet and a project worker at Heilsustýrið. Passionate about genetics and personalized medicine, Annetta specializes in the analysis and interpretation of genomic data, particularly within benign hematology, immunology, and cancer. Annetta holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry with a specialization in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of Copenhagen and has experience as a laboratory analyst and academic employee. They also produce a Faroese science podcast, Vísindaknokkar, and have taken on coaching responsibilities for the Danish Students’ Rowing Club. Previously, Annetta was a competitive rower and worked in various roles, including as a laboratory assistant and a waiter.
