Dooho Chang

VP, Engineering at Riiid

Dooho Chang has a comprehensive work experience in the technology industry. Dooho currently holds the position of CTO at PortOne Korea since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Engineering at PortOne Korea from May 2021 to June 2022. Before joining PortOne Korea, Dooho worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Riiid from November 2019 to May 2021, where they led technical initiatives and played a key role in developing various systems such as content, MLOps, authentication, payment, and push notification. Dooho also gained experience in DevOps practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code, using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes. From February 2018 to October 2019, they served as the Backend Lead at Devsisters, where they played a vital role in designing and developing the backend for the CookieRun: Kingdom mobile game. Dooho's experience also includes working as an iOS Team Lead at "Ubceudodsuteu(Reit)" from December 2016 to January 2018, where they developed the Banksalad iOS application and led product development. Dooho began their career as a Software Engineer at VCNC in October 2015, further enhancing their technical skills. Throughout their career, Dooho has shown expertise in various programming languages and frameworks, including Ruby, Kotlin, Scala, Akka, RxSwift, and MVVM design pattern.

Dooho Chang completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2008 to 2010, they attended a school called "Seoul High School of Arts and Sciences" but did not pursue any specific degree or field of study during this period. Following that, they enrolled at Korea University in 2011 and studied Computer Science until 2020, earning a degree in the same field.
