Tom Kocik

Tom Kocik has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as a Project Manager at RIIS LLC. In this position, they manage multiple IT projects within an Agile methodology and conducts various meetings to ensure project progress.

Prior to their current role, Tom worked at OpTech as a Project Delivery Lead for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan, where they managed IT projects and integrated data feeds into BCBSM's systems.

Tom also served as a Senior Project Manager at VisionIT, overseeing the development of a Procurement Management System for Girls Scouts USA. Tom implemented agile methodologies and coached the team on time utilization.

Additionally, Tom held positions as a Program Manager at VisionIT for various clients, including Walmart, Comerica Bank, and ConEdison. Tom led technical teams and oversaw system upgrades and implementations.

Earlier in their career, Tom worked at Genesis10 as a Technical Project Manager for Bank of America, and at Hewlett-Packard as a Program Manager for the Latin American Region.

Tom also has experience as a Pastor/Principal/Manager at Mt. Zion, where they implemented a Christian College and ensured compliance with governing and accrediting agencies.

Tom has demonstrated their leadership and project management skills throughout their career, achieving cost savings and ensuring the successful implementation of various IT projects.

Tom Kocik obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Math/Computer Science from Lawrence Technological University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989.
