Yasuo Tabei

Yasuo Tabei is a Team Leader at RIKEN-AIP, where they have served as a Unit Leader since April 2017, focusing on research and development in data mining and machine learning based on data compression. With expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Rust, Yasuo has developed advanced techniques for model learning and similarity search using compressed data. Prior to this role, Yasuo was a JST PRESTO Researcher, where they contributed significantly to the fields of data mining and machine learning. Yasuo is dedicated to mentoring a team of four postdoctoral researchers, supporting their professional growth.
