Johan Bergström is currently the Head of Funding at Riksgälden and serves as the Vice-Chair of the Economic and Financial Committee Sub-Committee on EU Sovereign Debt Markets since 2022. Previously, they held positions including Deputy Head of Funding at Riksgälden and Funding Manager at the Swedish National Debt Office, where they managed short-term funding and investor relations. With extensive experience in trading, Johan worked as a Senior Fixed Income Trader at the Royal Bank of Scotland and as a Senior Trader at Nykredit Markets. They obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Uppsala University and studied Finance at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
