Himadri Singh

Himadri Singh has over 14 years of professional experience in the software engineering field. Himadri began their career in 2006 as a Performance Consultant at IBM. In 2008, they joined Terracotta as a Performance Engineer, where they were responsible for Performance Testing and Tuning of Terracotta Server Array and other Terracotta products, as well as enhancing Performance testing f/w. In 2013, they moved to Terracotta - A Software AG company as a Lead Software Engineer (Performance), leading a team of 3 people focusing proactively on performance of BigMemory products and handling customer crits related to performance. That same year, they also joined Metamarkets as a Lead Platform Engineer, where they maintained ~2500 AWS EC2 Instances to provide better uptime, coordinated with service owners to migrate services running on over ~2500 EC2 instances from AWS VPC to GCP, implemented whole stack in GCP from scratch, and implemented various resources/tools to facilitate engineers to meet company goals. In 2017, they joined Snap Inc. (Metamarkets) as a Lead Platform Engineer and foodpanda India as an Associate Director - DevOps & Systems. Currently, they are the Head of DevOps and Lead Platform Engineer at Rill Data.

Himadri Singh completed their B.Tech in Electronics & Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee between 2002 and 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their ISC and ICSE from City Montessori School, RDSO Branch between 1999 and 2002, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Additionally, Himadri has obtained several certifications from Udemy and Coursera, including Docker, Apache Mesos & DCOS: Run and manage cloud datacenter, Learn DevOps: The Complete Kubernetes Course, Computing, Storage and Security with Google Cloud Platform, Configuration Management on Google Cloud Platform, Designing Highly Scalable Web Apps on Google Cloud Platform, Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, and Google Cloud Platform for Systems Operations Professionals Specialization.
