Nishant B.

Nishant B. has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2010 as a Senior Software Developer at Drishti Soft Solutions. Nishant then moved on to Terracotta in 2011 as a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Platform Team. In 2013, they joined Metamarkets as a Software Engineer, and also became a Committer for Apache Calcite, Apache Hive, and Apache Ambari, as well as a PMC Member for Apache Druid. In 2016, they were a Software Consultant for Hortonworks, and in 2019 they were a Software Consultant for Cloudera. In 2021, they became the Co-founder and Head of Engineering for Rill Data, a company that provides operational intelligence to data teams with zero DevOps overhead.

Nishant B. obtained a B.Tech in Information Technology from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra between 2006 and 2010. Nishant also holds an Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals, which they obtained in June 2021.
