Senior Event Manager - International Congresses at RIMASYS GROUP

Stuart McQueen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2002, they began their career as a Retail Supervisor at The Officers Club, where they worked until 2005. Following this, Stuart joined IKEA Group as a Customer Service Specialist from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, they transitioned into the education sector, working as a Music Teacher at Linlithgow Academy for a year. Stuart then moved to Bannockburn High School, where they held two roles: Music Teacher from 2010 to 2015 and Principal Teacher of the Faculty of Creative Arts from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Stuart joined Operation Mobilization as a Corporate Trainer, and they also took on the role of Music Director & Internal Events Planner until 2016. During their time at Operation Mobilization, Stuart gained extensive experience as a Project & Events Manager, responsible for planning and executing various conferences, workshops, and marketing projects. Stuart also played a vital role in strategic planning and forming a new department. Currently, Stuart is employed at RIMASYS GROUP as the Event Team Lead & Senior Event Manager, a position they started in July 2022.

Stuart McQueen completed their Bachelor of Music with Honours degree from The University of Edinburgh from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Edinburgh Moray House School of Education and Sport, where they obtained a Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary & Secondary Music) in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Stuart McQueen also obtained the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation certification from the ILX Group in February 2022.
