Tapas Kar

Tapas Kar is a skilled Software Application Developer currently working at Rimidi since May 2023, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Allstate from June 2022 to January 2023, and at Softright WebTech from January 2018 to July 2020. At Allstate, Tapas developed and tested the infotainment module using Agile methodologies, designed and implemented various Java and J2EE modules including Spring Boot and Spring MVC, and created interactive web pages utilizing JSP, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript while collaborating with project analysts on database connections. Tapas's earlier work at Softright WebTech involved monitoring applications with Spring Boot Actuator, developing UI screens, working with Java Maven and Hibernate, and deploying applications on IBM WebSphere, along with designing database tables in PostgreSQL.
