Rimward builds intrusion detection software for remote outdoor infrastructure.

We help operators of solar farms and other exposed technical sites turn existing CCTV into operator-ready alerts with video verification. The goal is simple: fewer false positives, faster decisions, and better evidence when an incident happens.

Most serious sites already have cameras, supervision procedures, and a monitoring stack. What they often lack is usable signal. Too many false alerts create operator fatigue, slow response, and make real events easier to miss. We believe the future of physical security is not more hardware or more dashboard noise. It is better decisions.

Rimward is built for environments where remote monitoring is difficult by nature: outdoor sites, uneven conditions, limited on-site presence, and infrastructure that has to work in the field, not just in demos. Our approach is software-heavy and infrastructure-first, designed to fit existing camera networks and operational workflows.

We are focused first on utility-scale solar, and also work on adjacent outdoor environments where recurring intrusion and verification burden create a clear need for better signal.

If you operate remote outdoor sites with existing camera coverage, we’d like to hear from you.
