Faisal Dar currently serves as the Global Head of Photovoltaics at RINA since November 2023. Prior to this role, Faisal held positions at WSP in the UK as Principal Engineer for Solar PV, focusing on utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System projects from June 2022 to November 2023. Previously, Faisal was the Chief Technical Officer at 8.2 Renewable Energy Experts Hamburg GmbH, providing consulting services for utility-scale renewable energy projects from July 2014 to June 2022, including notable projects in Pakistan. Earlier experience includes various engineering roles at Nizam Energy Pvt Ltd, specializing in solar PV system design, and teaching positions at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Faisal holds an MBA from the University of the Punjab and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
