Luca Macchi has extensive experience in railway infrastructure certification, currently serving as the Director of Railway Infrastructure Certification at RINA since July 2006, where responsibilities include oversight of Control-Command & Signalling and Energy. Educational background includes a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova, completed in 2004.
