Luca Macchi has extensive experience in railway infrastructure certification, currently serving as the Director of Railway Infrastructure Certification at RINA since July 2006, where responsibilities include oversight of Control-Command & Signalling and Energy. Previously, Luca held various positions at RINA Services S.p.A., including Rail Cert Lab & ISA for products & Class A Systems Manager and Head of the Railway Certification Laboratory. Prior to this, Luca contributed as a Railway Signalling Engineer and Researcher at DIBE - University of Genova from 2004 to 2006. Educational background includes a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova, completed in 2004.
