Stephen Pitman is currently the Technical Lead for Forensic Engineering and Expert Witness Services at RINA, where they focus on advanced engineering investigations. They previously held positions as Team Lead at Edif ERA, Senior Materials Analyst at ERA Technology Ltd, and Senior Scientist at DERA. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Applications Manager and Microanalysis Applications Scientist at Oxford Instruments Analytical, and as a Market Development Engineer at British Steel. Stephen earned a BEng (Hons) in Metallurgy and a PhD in Niobium Silicide Based Alloys from the University of Surrey.
