John Hinrichsen

John Hinrichsen is an experienced engineer and scientist currently serving as an Advanced Engineer / Scientist II at Rincon Research Corporation since March 2019. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Raytheon from March 2007 to March 2019, including Principal Software Engineer, where notable achievements included addressing GPS Block IIR simulation issues, and Principal Systems Engineer, focusing on high performance computing for the AIM-120D AMRAAM simulation. Earlier in their career, John worked as a Researcher & Software Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from June 2001 to July 2006, contributing to the FBX-T radar within the Ballistic Missile Defense System. John holds a Master of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Carnegie Mellon University.
