Michael Cortez

Michael Cortez is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and corporate finance. Currently serving as Corporate Controller at Ring since February 2017, Michael also holds advisory and investment roles with Confee and Acrew Capital, respectively, since March 2021. Previously, Michael was with Infineon Technologies from May 2010 to January 2017, where notable contributions included leading the accounting efforts during the $3 billion acquisition of International Rectifier. Additional experience includes serving as Controller for Virgin Mobile USA, contributing to the $39 million acquisition of Helio, and holding positions at Aegis Limited and Deloitte. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.
