Wen-Yo Lu

Wen-Yo Lu serves as the Head of Industrial Design at Ring since January 2019, where responsibilities include setting the design direction for the entire product family and addressing high-level design challenges. Prior experience at Ring includes roles as Senior Industrial Design Manager and Senior Industrial Designer, leading teams and spearheading the design of various security products. Additionally, Wen-Yo Lu is the Founder and Chief Designer at WLD - Wen-Yo Lu Design, focusing on collaborative product development with startups. Previous positions include Senior Industrial Designer at Motorola and HP, managing notable projects such as the Nexus 6 smartphone and HP's first 2-in-1 hybrid PC. Earlier experience includes work as a Senior Industrial Designer at Nokia and various design internships and freelance roles. Wen-Yo Lu holds a Bachelor of Science in Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design.
