Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in database operations and cloud infrastructure management. Currently serving as VP of Cloud Operations at RingCentral since September 2013, Amit has held various leadership roles including AVP of Cloud Operations and Senior Director of Operations, overseeing global infrastructure operations and capital planning. Prior to this, Amit was a Senior Manager at Cisco-Webex, responsible for managing database and storage infrastructure for the Webex SaaS platform. Amit's career spans several companies, including significant contributions at Cisco WebEx, Belkin, and Park Electro Chemical Corp, where expertise in optimizing database systems, integrating teams, and leading technology migrations has been demonstrated. Amit holds a Certificate in Leadership & Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
