Derek Yan

Derek Yan is an experienced localization professional currently serving as the Localization Manager at RingCentral since June 2018. In this role, Derek manages a portfolio of scrum localization projects, establishes internationalization processes, and improves localization workflows while monitoring vendor performance for quality and timely support. Prior to RingCentral, Derek spent eight years at Moravia IT in various roles, including Project Manager, where oversight of teams across multiple production centers and coordination with stakeholders were central to project success. Derek's career began with foundational roles such as Localization Engineer and Test Engineer, progressing through a solid educational background with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
