James Currie

James Currie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in solution engineering and sales within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Solution Engineering at RingCentral since July 2015, James has held progressively responsible roles such as Sales Engineering Manager and Sales Engineer. Prior to this, James worked at Branded Telecoms Ltd from 2009 to 2015 as a Field Data Sales Specialist, focusing on the SME market in Merseyside, Chester, and North Wales. James’s career began at BT Global Services from 2002 to 2009, where roles included ICT Professional Engineer and PBX Telephone System Engineer, as well as an earlier position as a Customer Service Engineer with BT Openreach. James holds an Engineer’s Degree in NVQ Level 3 Communications from Stoke on Trent College and NVQ Level 2 from Hugh Baird University Centre, complemented by a GCSE from Formby High School.
