Mark Byfield

Mark Byfield is an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in distribution and transport management. Currently serving as Distribution Resource Manager at Hanson since 2008, Mark is responsible for overseeing logistics projects, operational assessments, and efficiency improvements within the distribution function. Mark previously held roles at Hanson, including National Haulage Administration Manager and Distribution Supervisor, where responsibilities included headlining haulage administration for the UK and supervising distribution operations in the West Midlands. Prior to joining Hanson, Mark worked as a Traffic Coordinator at Midland Quarry Products and began a career at Tarmac as a Transport Coordinator, progressing from an Order Clerk. Mark holds a Professional Diploma in Logistics and Transport and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics.
