Alan Cook

Alan Cook is currently a Principal Mine Geologist at Rio Tinto, a position held since 2017. Previously, Alan served as Mine Manager and Superintendent Mine Planning, where they were responsible for overall mine management, safety stewardship, and project management for large-scale initiatives. In an earlier role at WPH Plant Hire Crushing Services, Alan acted as Project Manager, overseeing major contracts and fostering cultural change within the team. Alan has worked across various commodities including iron ore, copper, gold, and uranium, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and sustainable practices throughout their career.
