Connie Schultz is a seasoned geoscience professional with extensive experience in data management and validation within the mining sector. Currently serving as Principal Advisor for Geoscientific Systems at Rio Tinto since March 2020, Connie is responsible for standardizing data collection and ensuring compliance with data quality standards across Copper and Diamonds. Previously, at Resolution Copper from March 2006 to March 2020, Connie advanced through various roles including Senior Advisor, Geoscientific Systems Specialist, Core Logging Supervisor, Senior Water Treatment Operator, Geologist, and Associate Geologist, where responsibilities included data organization, statistical analysis, team management, and quality control in geological logging. Connie holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from Western Washington University, achieved between 2001 and 2004.
