Daniel Spring is a Senior Control System Engineer at Rio Tinto, overseeing the control systems engineering teams for three processing plants and two export facilities, as well as power generation, distribution, water extraction, and wastewater treatment facilities in the Weipa region since May 2018. Prior to this role, Daniel served as an Electrical Engineer from February 2007 to May 2018, where responsibilities included leading a team of four electrical and control engineers at the Amrun operation and managing the client-side aspects of the Amrun project through its design, construction, and commissioning phases. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Charles Darwin University, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
