Ed Tuplin

Ed Tuplin is a Principal Advisor specializing in tailings and geotech, currently working with Rio Tinto in the APAC region. With a robust background in dam engineering, they have accumulated extensive experience across various roles, including Senior Project Engineer at Knight Piesold and Responsible Dam Engineer at BHP, where they engaged in dam operation, remediation projects, and stakeholder support. Ed's expertise spans multiple continents, including operational and design roles in Australia, Asia, Africa, Central America, and the UK. They hold both an MSc and BSc in Engineering Geology and Environmental Geology from the University of Leeds.
