Gareth Smith is currently a Principal Advisor for Infrastructure and I&OT Security at Rio Tinto, where they focus on protecting digital assets and enhancing infrastructure security solutions. With previous roles at Rio Tinto, including Security Architect and Senior Security Analyst, Gareth has built a robust background in cyber security. Earlier in their career, they worked as a System Engineer at clariti and served as a Network & System Administrator for Brisbane Catholic Education from 2000 to 2004.
