Garry Wright

Garry Wright is an Exploration Manager for Africa at Rio Tinto, drawing on over twenty years of experience in global exploration efforts for various commodities and deposit styles. Previously, Garry held roles such as General Director at Rio Tinto Exploration Kazakhstan and served in multiple capacities at Robe River Mining, advancing from Graduate to Project Geologist to Senior Geologist. Garry's significant contributions at Rio Tinto include positions as Vice President of Exploration and Country Manager roles in both Botswana and South Africa. Garry earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science from The University of Western Australia.
