Ian Rees is currently the Head of the Rio Tinto Orebody Knowledge Centre of Excellence and serves as the Chief Advisor for Strategy and Integrated Planning within the bauxite business. With extensive experience in the mining industry, Ian previously held roles such as Study Manager at PanAust and Manager of Corporate Finance at PwC. They also worked as a Contract Geologist for the Queensland Government and held several positions at Rio Tinto Alcan, including Business Analyst/BD Manager and General Manager of Resource Development. Ian began their career as a Geologist at North Limited from 1996 to 1999.
