Joel Blake

Joel Blake is a Principal Geologist and proud Palawa - pakana individual with nearly 20 years of experience in mineral exploration across various countries and commodities. Currently a member of the National Indigenous STEM Professional Network, Blake previously worked at Rio Tinto, where they held roles as Senior Project Geologist and Principal Geologist, leading multiple exploration projects in Australia and Asia. Blake has also been associated with BHP Billiton and Anglo American, contributing significantly to resource assessments and exploration strategies. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Geology from The University of Queensland and are pursuing a Master's degree in Economic Geology at the University of Tasmania, where they are on the Roll of Excellence.
