Jonathan Cramer

Jonathan Cramer, PhD, currently serves as an Ingénieur recherche at Rio Tinto since September 2019. Prior to this role, Jonathan was an Attaché temporaire d'enseignement et de recherche at Sorbonne Université from September 2018 to September 2019, focusing on microwave-assisted recycling of metals from lithium-ion batteries while also teaching chemical engineering courses. Jonathan's experience includes a doctoral position at ECO-SYSTÈMES, where the focus was on thermal plasma processes for the selective extraction of metals from electrical and electronic waste. Earlier roles involved electrochemical recycling processes for aerospace metals at ONERA, a master internship at DLR studying corrosion in hybrid materials, and a technician position at IFSTTAR researching the durability of concrete under chemical aggression.
