Mark Bixley is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience across various prestigious companies. Mark's career began at BHP New Zealand Steel as a Graduate - Senior Mining Engineer from October 1992 to April 1996, followed by roles at BHP Engineering as a Consultant Mining Engineer until 1999, and again from 1996 to 2003. Mark then worked for Rio Tinto from January 2007 to July 2019, holding several titles including Superintendent Technical Services and Principal Strategic Mine Planning, where Mark contributed to the Oyu Tolgoi project in Mongolia. From February 2013 to November 2015, Mark served as Manager Mining at Rio Tinto Minera Peru. Currently, Mark owns Kohinui Consulting and is the Manager Integrated Planning at Oyu Tolgoi for Rio Tinto since August 2019.
