Mark Gilmore

Mark Gilmore is the General Manager at Rio Tinto, where they have led the Yarwun Alumina Refinery since 2018. With over 30 years of experience in their sector, they have previously held significant roles, including Metallurgist and Project Manager at Anglo Platinum, as well as various management positions at Anglo American. Mark holds multiple degrees, including a BSc in Metallurgy from the University of the Witwatersrand, and has furthered their education through programs in sustainability and organizational leadership. Currently, they are pursuing a program in Leading for Strategic Success at Melbourne Business School.
