Mel V. is an experienced corporate affairs professional in the resource industry with extensive operational mining exposure. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Corporate Communications at Rio Tinto, Mel focuses on developing and executing communications strategies while engaging stakeholders and managing projects. Previously, they held roles at the City of Armadale and Neuromuscular WA, where Mel successfully created strategic content and managed digital communications. Mel holds a Bachelor of Mass Communications in Public Relations from Curtin University and continues their education at Shenton College.
