Michael Tran

Michael Tran currently serves as a Principal Advisor at Rio Tinto since April 2020, previously holding the position of Advisor for Monitoring and Reporting. Prior to that, Michael worked as a Senior Auditor at Airservices Australia from August 2019 to April 2020, and as an Internal Audit Manager at A.P. Eagers Limited from February 2016 to August 2019. Michael began professional career as an Assistant Manager at KPMG Australia from January 2012 to January 2016. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics with a focus on Accounting and International Trade and Finance from The University of Queensland, completed in 2011, and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand since 2015.
