Michael Upton

Michael Upton is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in managing capital portfolios and multi-discipline projects across various industries. They began their career as a Development Engineer at ICI Explosives and later worked as a Project Engineer at TYP Pty Ltd. They held key positions such as Engineering Manager at WorleyParsons and Project Principal Advisor at Rio Tinto, where they managed operations across several smelters. Michael holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from La Trobe University and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Project Management at the Australian Institute of Project Management.
