Patrick Walker is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in the field. They began their career as a Risk Manager at Watkins-Johnson from 1987 to 1996 before serving as Director of Risk Management at Hitachi Data Systems until 1999. Currently, Patrick is the Global Head of Group Risk Finance at Rio Tinto, a position they have held since 2019, after progressing from Senior Manager - Group Risk Financing since 2001. Patrick earned an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University in 1997 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1984.
