Peter Scully

Peter Scully has extensive experience in tax risk management and advisory roles, currently serving as Principal Advisor for Tax Risk Management at Rio Tinto since March 2006, following a progression to General Manager for Global Tax Risk Management & Reporting within the same company. Peter's earlier positions include Tax Manager at Xstrata Queensland Limited and Senior Tax Advisor at MIM Holdings Limited, as well as roles at MGI White Hancock and Harding Martin Chartered Accountants. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Brisbane College of Advanced Education and completed high school at Brisbane Grammar School. Since January 2025, Peter has been retired.
