Rob Towne has extensive experience in the mining and construction sectors, currently serving as a Construction Advisor at Rio Tinto since July 2021. Prior to this role, Rob worked as a Rehabilitation Projects Supervisor at Rio Tinto Iron Ore and as a Project Manager at SC Services Pty Ltd, where responsibilities included overseeing the construction of communication antennas for the Department of Defence. Rob also held the position of Drilling & Field Coordinator at McArthur River Mining Pty. Ltd. and served as a Senior Earthworks Coordinator at Rio Tinto Iron Ore for nearly two decades. Rob holds a Diploma of Applied Science in Engineering and Mine Surveying from Wembley College of TAFE.
