Robert Windell

Robert Windell is a Senior Advisor in Environment at Rio Tinto Kennecott, where they focus on environmental stewardship, land management, and financial preparation for eventual closure projects. They previously held positions as a Senior Engineer and Field Engineer at Rio Tinto, as well as roles in geophysics and geology at Parsons Corporation and Kennecott Utah Copper, respectively. Robert began their career as a Computer Technician at Geek Squad and later served as a Geologic Computing Specialist at Brigham Young University. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Brigham Young University and also studied Computer Science at The University of Texas at El Paso.
