Travis Baroni

Travis Baroni is an experienced professional with a robust background in the minerals and materials sector. Currently serving as Chief Advisor for Battery Minerals at Rio Tinto since February 2022, Travis also brings extensive expertise as a Non Executive Director at Resonance Health Ltd since November 2016. Previous roles include Director of New Products, Services, and IP Commercialization at Alcoa from September 2014 to February 2022, as well as Business Development Manager during the same tenure. Travis's experience in investment banking at PCF Capital Group from November 2011 to July 2014 involved asset and company valuations and market research. Earlier, Travis held various positions at Alcoa, including Research Manager and Principal Scientist, after completing a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Curtin University of Technology. Travis earned a PhD and a BSc (Hons) from The University of Western Australia between 1993 and 2002.
