Christopher Edey

Christopher Edey is a seasoned professional in real estate and urban planning, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of RioCan Living Asset Management since January 2017, where oversight is given to a growing urban residential and mixed-use portfolio. Edey has also held the position of Director of Asset Management with RioCan, overseeing mixed-use development properties across Canada. In addition, Edey is a lecturer at the Schulich School of Business, developing and teaching courses related to real estate and infrastructure. Previous roles include Director of Commercial Land Use Development at York University Development Corporation and Urban Planning and Communications Manager at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Edey's international experience includes advising on municipal management in Guyana. Edey holds an MBA in Real Property and Infrastructure from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo.
