Jesse Shelly

Jesse Shelly has a diverse and extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Jesse began their career as an Air Traffic Controller with the Federal Aviation Administration, where they gained expertise in managing and controlling air traffic operations.

Jesse then transitioned into the field of engineering, starting with a role as a Plastics Thermoforming Specialist at Multifab, Inc. Jesse set up and operated large vacuum thermoforming machines, performed quality control inspections, and conducted light maintenance duties. After this, Jesse took on an Engineering Internship role at the same company and led an internal study on material shrink rates, developed new product concepts, and contributed to the corporate website and video production.

Jesse further honed their engineering skills with an R&D Engineer Internship at Tedder Industries, where they collaborated with fellow engineers to develop new products. Jesse created 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks and conducted 3D printing of prototypes for evaluation and testing.

Moving on, Jesse joined Multifab, Inc. again as a Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they worked as a mechanical designer of thermoforming tooling, planned and managed projects from startup to the first article inspection, and developed and improved manufacturing processes.

Next, Jesse worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Vivid Racing. Here, they led the R&D of performance automotive parts, worked with international suppliers and manufacturers to source components, and created CAD models, drawings, and bills of materials for products under development.

Following this, Jesse joined Boeing Intelligence & Analytics as an Aeronautical Analyst. Jesse utilized CAD software to create and maintain aeronautical flight charts, performed quality control of other analysts' work, and compiled worldwide aeronautical data to meet the Department of Defense's operational needs.

Currently, Jesse is working as a Mechanical Engineer at RipeLocker, LLC.
