Declan Clements

Declan Clements is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange trading and electronic markets. Starting as FX Dealer at Lloyds Bank and later progressing to Chief FX Dealer roles at Republic National Bank of New York and Crédit Agricole CIB, Declan moved on to hold significant positions, including Executive Director at Standard Chartered Bank, where responsibility included leading the development of the Straight2Bank exchange electronic trading platform and compliance systems for MIFID II. Currently, Declan serves as Managing Director at FinFX Consulting Limited and Product Manager at Ripjar, while also being a Board Member at Settlement Circle. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Accountancy and Computer Science from the University of Wales, a Master's degree in eCommerce from Birkbeck, University of London, and completion of the Oxford Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
