Rodney Olsen

Rodney Olsen has extensive experience in software engineering and operations. Rodney began their career in 1989 as President of SoftSolutions Inc, developing computer games for commercial publication. In 1995, they joined Asymetrix as a Developer, developing application and web publishing tools. In 1998, they moved to Lariat as Development Manager, leading development efforts with aggressive timelines on many web-based java projects. In 2005, they joined Smilebox as Vice President of Operations, directly responsible for all technical operations outside of software development. In 2017, they joined Ripl, Inc. as VP of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the implementation and interaction of APIs, user interface and user experience, quality assurance, and security concerns.

Rodney Olsen attended the University of Washington, where they obtained a certification in Software Management.
