Brian Spahn

Brian Spahn currently serves as the Senior Director of Regulatory Compliance at Ripple since February 2022. Prior to this role, Brian was the Global Regulatory Affairs Manager at AFEX from January 2015 to February 2022, where responsibilities included guiding the acquisition of licenses for money transmission services across 28 states and obtaining payment authorizations from multiple international financial authorities. Brian has also gained valuable legal experience as a Law Clerk at Eberhardt-Villanueva LLP and as a Legal Intern at Steinberg Sports and Entertainment. Earlier, Brian held positions at Q2 Sports and Entertainment and Rodeo Realty, showcasing a diverse background in compliance and regulatory affairs. Brian holds a J.D. with a Business Law Certificate from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management.
