Christopher Bennett

Christopher Bennett is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in threat detection and response. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Security Engineer at Ripple since January 2023, Christopher advises the CISO and contributes to the Information Security Team as a subject matter expert. Prior experience includes significant roles at Okta, where Christopher built and managed teams for federal detection and response, and advanced detection engineering practices. Additionally, Christopher has held positions at Lockheed Martin, focusing on cyber security challenges, and served in the United States Marine Corps, specializing in signals intelligence and cryptologic linguistics. Academically, Christopher holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Springfield, alongside an Associate degree in Dari from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
