Stu Alderoty is currently the Chief Legal Officer at Ripple since January 2019. Prior to their current role, Stu served as the General Counsel at CIT from 2016 to 2019, at HSBC from 2010 to 2016, and at American Express from 2002 to 2010. Stu started their career as an Associate at Post Polak, P.A. from 1985 to 1989 and later became a Partner at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae from 1989 to 2002. Stu holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Rutgers Law School - Newark and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Rutgers University.
