Albert Strasheim

Albert Strasheim is the current Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering at Rippling. Albert has over thirteen years of experience in the engineering field.

Strasheim began their career as a research engineer at AGNITiO Voice ID in October 2008. Albert then became a technical lead at VASTech in October 2009. In October 2013, they became an engineering manager at Cloudflare, Inc. In February 2016, they became an engineering manager at Mesosphere, Inc. In April 2017, they became the vice president of engineering - Segment Core at Segment.

Albert has experience managing large engineering teams and building amazing products and infrastructure. Albert is skilled in Identity and Access Management (IAM), LDAP, SAML & OpenID Connect integrations, Secrets Management, integration testing, scalability testing, and REST API. Albert is also experienced in Mesos, Marathon, and CLIs.

Albert Strasheim studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University and received their Bachelor of Engineering degree. Albert then went on to study Physics and Mathematics at Stellenbosch University and received their Bachelor of Science degree.
