Dean S.

Dean S. is a junior Computer Science student at the University of the Pacific and currently serves as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Curated. Previously, they designed a configurable rule-based system at Curated that significantly increased page indexability on Google and created a content recommendation system using ElasticSearch. As a Game Development Summer Research Assistant at the University of the Pacific, Dean helped refactor students’ C# Unity code for better code quality, while also serving as a Computer Science Tutor and Teacher Assistant, where they supported students in mastering finite automata design. Their leadership as the Google Developer Student Club Lead involved organizing events for over 90 members and enhancing students' competitive coding skills.
