Paul Best

Paul Best currently serves as the Product Design Lead for Design Systems at Rippling since October 2025. Prior to this role, Paul was the Product Design Director at The Washington Post from March 2020 to November 2025, where responsibilities included aligning design strategy with user and business needs, managing design teams, and evolving design systems for improved speed and quality. Paul's earlier experience includes positions as Director of User Experience at iStrategyLabs, Senior Interactive Designer/Developer at ripe, UX Designer at the US Green Building Council, and Web Designer at Elder Law of Michigan. Paul holds a dual Bachelor's degree in Finance and Urban Planning from Michigan State University.
