Shail Patel is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in driving product innovation and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Rippling since May 2021, Shail has played a pivotal role in expanding the Global Payroll Country Expansion team and collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop high-quality products. Prior to this, Shail held various engineering management roles at Uber and BrightRoll/Yahoo, and began a career in engineering at Ooyala. Shail holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, further complemented by a solid educational foundation from Phillips Exeter Academy.
